What you need

The Mac, iPhones and accounts Foundry needs before setup.

Hardware

  • A Mac that stays on. One Mac runs up to 12 iPhones.
  • Xcode 15 or newer on that Mac, opened once with its license accepted, and an Apple Developer team. The small runner app on each phone is signed under your own team, and Apple allows 100 iPhones per team per year.
  • The iPhones you want to post from, on iOS 17 or newer. Ours are iPhone SE, 12 and 13 models.
  • A USB cable for each phone, plugged straight into the Mac where you can. A hub is one point of failure for every phone on it.
  • The Mac stays awake and unlocked. Each phone stays unlocked with Auto-Lock set to Never and its passcode off, with Developer Mode and Enable UI Automation turned on.

Accounts

  • Your own Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts, signed in on the phone in the official apps.
  • Foundry never sees a social password. You sign in on the phone yourself, once.
  • Sign in once on each phone, including any code the app asks for at sign in. From then on Foundry clears the routine prompts itself: app updates, tracking, Photos access, promo sheets.

An agent

Claude Code, Codex or Cursor on the same Mac. It installs Foundry, runs it day to day and tells you when something needs you.
